I happened to to learn of a pond from my ex-girlfriend while eating lunch one day with her. Last night i went there with my fishing buddy and we had a blast. Waited til dusk for everyone to leave because there's supposed to be no fishing. Its in a really rich town a few minutes from my home and thats why i assume they do not allow fishing. Anyhow back to the report between the two of us 13 largemouth bass were caught. The average was about a pound to pound and a half. Many 2 pounders as well. This is really good for my area of fishing and the amount as well for 2 hours of fishing. I think the front coming in and rain later in the night also helped. Looks like we have found a honey hole and i hope to fish this pond for many times to come. All bass were released with no harm. The only downer was boy did i lose a monster, got him within one foot from shore and was about to grab him and he snapped the line. The 3 types of lures we used were swimming senko's in green pumkin, gambler loco lizard in blue black, and the western hula stik in watermelon with red flake. The hula stik were lures which i field tested, and about 20 other guys recieved a few months ago to field test.  Thanks again J.D for allowing myself to use these lures. There's my report for a productive evening on long island
