Troutfisher Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 I had a great time today nailing some bass on white three inch senkos on red hooks. After I finished weed-eating today, I headed out to the local backwater area within biking distance of my house. Overcast skies ruled the day with high temperatures in the upper 60s. I made some blind casts with senkos around cover and was very successful. The results of my outing can be found in the pictures below. I caught my largest bass in 2007 as well. All in all, I caught 5 bass. Two were dinks, but three were larger fish. My favorite "fishin' hole" My largest bass (so far) of '07. Some smaller bass I caught as well. All in all, great trip, and I hope to get back soon! Thanks to all the folks at BassResource.com for daily help and support for everything bass fishing! Quote
Guest avid Posted April 19, 2007 Posted April 19, 2007 white senko's are a secret bait of mine. They often don't work as well as the darker colors, but when they are "on" Man, they are reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllly on. good for you. Quote

Other. Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Nice group of fish you caught. By the way, how do you ride a bike and carry your tackle and rods at the same time? I once tried riding my bike carrying a few things and it was really hard to keep stable. I cant imagine what it would be like carrying 3 poles, and a large bulky tackle box. Quote
Bass XL Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 looks like somebody needs to change there signature (you got a new pb for the year) Quote
Troutfisher Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 Thanks for the comments, guys! Nice group of fish you caught. By the way, how do you ride a bike and carry your tackle and rods at the same time? I once tried riding my bike carrying a few things and it was really hard to keep stable. I cant imagine what it would be like carrying 3 poles, and a large bulky tackle box. I usually carry a fishing bag/creel with a strap so I can sling it around my shoulder. As far as the rods, I usually put them length ways across the handle-bars. It's pretty easy. I tried the tackle box once, and didn't have good luck with that... ;D Bass XL, thanks for the reminder! I'll head over and change that now. Quote
