Finally got some decent fishing weather up here in New York so I took advantage. Second cast of the day brought this 2lb 10 oz. fish. I caught this one on a 1/8 oz. Terminator finesse jig black blue with matching trailer. Hopped it right on the bottom and within about 5 seconds felt a tap tap tap and then bam, fight was on.

Now I am thinking this is going to be a surprisingly good day, but much to my despise the bite slowed down big time. About 2 hours after i caught my first one I switced to a little glass shad rap and got a little keeper.

All in all it was a pretty good day and I had a lot of fun. Hopefully many more posts in the outings section are to follow ;)

Yeah sometimes NYS can really suck weather wise. But with that said we have decent summers so that off-sets it I guess.

Great jig choice,....one of my favorite!!

All my '07 fish have come off that jig but for 2 which came on my new secret that stratosdadri turned me onto.  They even liked it at Fork.

Very weedless.

Way to go,...many more to come!
