Don - WWF Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Finally getting back to making reports. Have only had my boat out a few times in the past few months. Have been helping George or fishing with Steve P. When I'm in somone else's boat I leave the reporting to them. We have been having a lot of really good days. Garcia had been producing the numbers but the Stick Marsh still has been producing the sizes. In the past week or so I have hit a lot of good fish at the Stick Marsh. Many in the 6 to 8 lb. range. Went out today from about 8:30 to 1 or so. Had a total of 22 fish. Biggest today were 7, 6, & 5 with only one dink. Several 4 pounders made it to the boat. As usual, the forcast SE wind was out of the west. It was perfect for chug bugging and 10 made it to the boat. Wind went dead calm and the bite died for me. I started tossing a senko at stickups. I hit a fish on about every other stump. The SE wind then came on strong out of the NW. Since I live close and had chores to take care of I left early. It's that time of the year and I think the chug bug bite will be strong for quite a while. I plan on spending a lot of time out there from now on. Good luck if you make it out there. Quote
