Spent about 3 hours at my former boss's pond.  Windy, BP dropping, high 70s, cloudy, and one day before the full moon so I thought I had a good chance of slaying them but all I could manage was a 4 lber plus 5 or 6 1 lbers.  Still a nice way to spend a few hours as much needed rain approaches from the SW.

Yo Dan,

Beautiful.

Let me guess.

Thanks again y'all. :)

No Avid,  I haven't thrown a C-rig in years.  I detest having to fool with all that terminal tackle :-?.  I T-rigged it using for the first time, a "bobber-stopper"(keeps the weight in place) and  a tungsten weight with a 4/0 Sugoi hook.  Tried that b/s out as I'm running low on my favorites, Gambler's Rattlin, screw-in weights.

That Ika is a "big" Ika(I don't use the "fat" ones) in their color #236:

They don't make any Ikas in color #222 or I'd have some ;).

Thanks everyone for the kind words and for looking.

Russ:  It's a MB F4 ½-68XFti Jabberwock Evolution (Medium Fast, ¼-1 oz., 8-22 lbs.).  That 'bent' handle fits right against my lower arm :).

EDIT:  Sorry but the handle is 'cut' in that pic :(  Let's see if this works:

Thanks Corey :).

Vyron:  I'd been T-rigging a GY Lizard and remembered I hadn't thrown an Ika in a long time.  I use to throw one weightless all the time and caught many doing that but the bite seemed to be on the bottom that day.  GY's Lizards are so fragile in the 'nose' area so I decided to try a thicker bait and that Big Ika fit the bill ;).
