Triton21 Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Here is a picture of my new PB caught at Lake Fork. It was caught on a watermelon sticko diped in spike-it. Weighed 8lb 9oz. There is a very interesting story about the catch. Muddy got it on video and if LBH don't post it I will tell it later. Kelley Quote
Guest avid Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Hey Kelley - CONGRATULASTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really hoping some new PB's would come out of the trip. Outstanding. The sticko....Is that the BPS senko knockoff? Anyway, how about a full size photo. It looks like you made the photo into an avatar which is totally cool, but post a big pic soze weez kin all sez .....Shazam, that's one mighty fine fish ya got there feller. I think resizing photo's so the larger dimension is around 500+ makes for a nice pic that doesn't require scrolling. Anyway. You done good. avid Quote
Triton21 Posted March 24, 2007 Author Posted March 24, 2007 Try it now Avid. The Sticko is a BP knock-off. I can catch 5 or 6 fish on 1 lure. We caught an average of 10 fish a day for 5 days on the 5 3/8 model fished wacky both off beds and blind casting. The 8lb 9oz was caught blind casting on N side of Mustang Island. Kelley Quote
Guest avid Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Much better. I don't know who is better looking, you or the bass PS. what hook do you use for that wacky rigged sticko? Quote

CyBasser Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Nice beauty! Thanks Guys. Wait till you hear the story behind the catch. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't have a witness. Kelley Hmmm... Did it jump out of the water and grabbed your lure while it was hanging from the rod (about 1ft above the surface) before making the next cast? That's about the weirdest thing that happenned to me during bass fishing (3 1/2lb bass) - and I was even fishing from the shore! Glad to know you guys had a great time at Fork! Quote
