Blue Eyed Fisher Chick Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Welcome Mike! Blue Eyed Fisher Chick... I can't believe you didn't make the trip with Craig??? Oh well... I guess it is good for us since you are our life line to Fork!!! Thanks for the updates!!! I sooo wish I could be there, but you see I have a 2 year old and its hard to find someone to watch her for a whole week!! So I stayed behind, hopefully next year I can make the trip. The guys seem to be having a GREAT time. Although last night I found out that Craig and his crew will be coming home today. One of the guys he is with has a fire that has to be put out tonight for work!! It sucks but they said they have had a blast. So your life lines are soon to be cut off ;D But if I hear of any information, I will be sure to let you all know. When I talked to Craig late last night, it was brief, they were packing so I didnt get his fish count for yesterday, But i just spoke with him this morning and they caught a total 24 with the biggest being 4 1/2 lbs. Craig said he did talk to Muddy but they weren't catching many fish. They said its been slow for most everyone.
StatosDadRI Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 LBH and RI Crew, found a digital camera in my van. One of you must have dropped on the way to PVD Airport.

wishn4fishn Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Thanks for the welcome: trout Matt Blue Eyed Gotta Love It eastky I appreciated it. I hope y'all get to come down here sometime soon. Here is a picture I took at Fork after a spring storm in '02. The rainbow is in the northeastern sky. Williams Creek comes in from the left. The BR crew is probably finding a lunker somewhere under this rainbow. Let's hope!

Triton21 Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Ken and I made it home safely. We had a great 5 days at Fork. We averaged 10 nice bass a day with the 8lb 9oz new PB for me. Meeting the other members was great. Now I have a face to place with a handle. It was also nice to see the 3 other members that were there from last year, Matt Fly, LBH, and Art. Last night was a blast fishing at the dock with Fluke's 'Famous Snoopy Rod'. I am sure many of the attendees, like myself and Ken, are looking forward to the "3rd Annual Road Trip". Meeting Glen and Keri was great also. The top social events of the trip were the dinners prepared by Alpster, Muddy Man, and Road Warrior. Also a special thanks to RWHusker for putting me on fish. Without him My new PB would not have been possible. Bert (Bighead) also needs a special thanks as it was he who told RWHusker where those fish were. A very special thanks to Matt Fly who was very helpful as always. Hi Cris, (Matt's Sexy Lady). Kelley
Blue Eyed Fisher Chick Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Craig, Ryan, and Jason all made it home safely late yesterday evening! Their 12 or so hour drive left them really tired! It was nice listening to all Craigs stories when he got home last night. As Triton 21 said the dinners seemed to be when you got to see everyone! Congrats Triton on the New PB!!! Did you get a pic of it? I am sure she was a beauty!! I will be looking forward to making sure everyone makes it home safely and seeing all the video and pics that come about!!
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted March 23, 2007 Author Posted March 23, 2007 Yes Blue eyes, we got pics, we got video, we got it all. Unfortunately I couldn't get many pics of "Team Georgia" dominating the scene as they were a 3 man team that took off in the morning and came back when it was dark. These guys attacked the lake like one big machine Perhaps that's why "Team Georgia" reigned supreme with the numbers. Size however,.......well,.....Glenn's the man,....(and Kerri is the woMAN) Details to follow later today.

"Team Georgia" did have high numbers in catching but not so high in weight, but hey atleast they were catching!! They were some fishing fools from sunup to sundown!! He did say they hung into a few good ones that got away, (the big ones always do ;D ) I am glad you all had a wonderful time. Hopefully I can make it next year!!!
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted March 23, 2007 Super User Posted March 23, 2007 Howdy Russ. Good to see you are back on the keyboard!!
craigaria Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 We are back! Had to leave a day early due to a work emergency. It was an awesome trip and great to meet and hang out with the BR crew! I am going to start a post in a few with pics and stories!!! 8-)
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted March 23, 2007 Super User Posted March 23, 2007 SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! My mouth is watering already...
craigaria Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Thanks for the welcome back! I posted a report in fishing outings! Enjoy!!!
Troutfisher Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Did Muddy Man (Dominick) give you any trouble?
craigaria Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Did Muddy Man (Dominick) give you any trouble? Heck no! He was a really cool guy! I wish we could of hung out more. Muddy and LBH had some stories from their first trip out that had me rolling on the floor. The only bad part about the trip was while we were out fishing, we weren't getting to hang out with the group. :'(
Troutfisher Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I see, and how were the meatballs? I heard from a few members they were really good. Nothing beats good Italian.

Guest avid Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Y'all get home safe and sound now, hear? Can't wait to see all the stories in the outings section. avid PS I heard a shocking rumour. I not one to gossip but............................................... 8-)
Super User Long Mike Posted March 24, 2007 Super User Posted March 24, 2007 I posted a brief report and a few photos in the Outings section. I assume that LBH will be posting the "official" journal, so I will not try to steal his thunder. Just a few snippets. Picture RiskKid driving his rental boat into the slip at 15mph, not knowing that the boat had a reverse gear. Picture Muddyman trying for the first time to use the steering pedal on his bow-mount trolling motor, and complaining that the faster he wanted to go the more to the right he turned. ... and there are many, many more ...
