Y'all should be arriving and settling in today.

Seems like the timing was good this year.

You are on my mind every day.

I wish you all a safe, fun, bass filled, SAFE trip.

Okay, LBH, cigarlover, and I just returned from the airport, and I'm back home. As some of you have heard, our 6 a.m. flight this morning was cancelled as a result of the recent snowstorm that hit the Northeast, and the best they could do for us was a 6 pm. flight on Tuesday!!

We regrouped, and after some research, we waited in an impossibly long line for the second time this morning, and after considerable indignation and cajoling at the ticket counter, we were able to get a flight tomorrow at about 3:30 PM, which should get us into Dallas at about 8 or so. Needless to say, we were contemplating some pretty grim scenarios, including not making it down to Fork at all.

We highly recommend that none of you ever flies U.S. Airways. Their incompetence this morning (they seemed entirely unprepared for that rare event, snow in New England) was surpassed only by their rudeness and complete lack of customer service or spirit of reasonable accomodation. At 4:30 a.m. today, the line at their ticket counter literally stretched out the door of the terminal, and they had onecount 'emone person at a terminal. They shouldn't be in business. Thank God we finally found a sympathetic ticket agent.

Anyway, LBH's computer is being upgraded, so he probably won't be able to post until we get to Fork.

Wow, unbelievable unpreparedness upon the airline.  Simply inexcusable.  Here's hoping for the best for you guys on a safe and hopefully "soon" trip to Fork!

I can't believe that.  Tell everyone hi from Troutfisher, and I'll be sure and tell my bodyguards to get in touch with U.S. Airways

as of this minute 5:45 pm on Sunday,

The bass buss has arrived at the Fork.

Alpster, muddyman, ron, and riskid are the first to check in.  with others arriving later today and tomorrow.

Alpster reports the air temp is 70 degrees with windy conditions, and the spawn is in full swing.

Muddy was spooling up with power pro while we were speaking.

I said "Braided line?? You must be getting reader for a share lunker"

Muddy said "Hell no, if I catch a big bass I ain't sharing it with nobody"

All is well.  ;)

Stopped by the cove after my tournament on Fork today.  Got to meet a great bunch of guys and one mook.  Everybody was settling in for some rest after their long travels but seemed excited about getting on the water tomorrow.  The wind was a bit rough on the lake today and the fish that had been bedded were nowhere to be seen.  A day or two of sunshine and it'll be back on.  I'm gassed up, chargers hooked up, and ready to hit it again in the morning.  big
