Guest avid Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 OHMAGAWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Kent, I'm really glad you posted this here. Having no smallies in Florida I rarely look at that forum. Kudo's to you Mr. Fish Chris, you are officially granted the title of "The myth, the legend, the one and only" and shall forever be referred to as such by me. In the future PLEASE post in the "the my outing" section which covers all fishing trips not just LMB's. I would hate to miss another saga like this one. That second photo you show. The markings on that bass are absolutely breathtaking. Without a doubt th most beautiful smallmouth bass I have ever seen. an 8.5 lb smallmouth. Most folks would love to have a green back that big well done. Quote
Fishin49er Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Man that is an oustanding day, wish I had just one like that. I agree with Avid the color and patterns on that second fish is just amazing, probably the best I've seen. Awesome job FC!!!!! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 16, 2007 Author Super User Posted March 16, 2007 Well, I have almost calmed down. These last two days of Fish_Chris fishing are beyond anything I think a "regular guy" would ever expect to experience in a lifetime. His story writing skill makes the trip even that much better and his photographs should be featured in National Geographic. This is as good as it gets. Quote
Troutfisher Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 http://www.worldrecordbass.com/hof.asp?ID=4 He's even got a spot on World Record Bass . com! Quote
Fish Chris Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 You better stop before I can't get my head through the door :-) LOL Seriously though, I really appreciate all the flattery, but as I'm constantly reminding people, the simple fact of the matter is, I've just been totally blessed with being able to fish as much as I do, in the places I do. It also helps that since I don't guide, I'm never under any pressure to catch "big numbers" of fish. Add in the fact that I don't fish tournies, so I can just totally forget the clock, and fish however, and wherever I want to....... And its really just no wonder that I catch some good ones from time to time. I'm telling you guys, any one of you, given all of the same opportunities that I have, would do "at least as well, if not better". The only thing I was born with, is a really strong passion to fish..... or in a purer sense, "to be part of nature", and I think most everybody here has that in them, anyway :-) So, nothing special in me, amongst this crowd. Peace, Fish Quote
