2 ft!!!! wow, very nice. I have some pretty heavy cover in my area, but I think I'd probably need about a 30lb jig to get through it, you know, it's the shiny, cold kind that's hard to fish through... :(

im in south ga. a cold front came through and i guess it was just trying to find a warm place under the very thick mat. i found a little hole in the mat and dropped the jig in and it gulped it up.
