bronzeback01 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 I have a package of 8" yamamoto cut tail worms , it's my last one and i can't find them anywhere the longest i can find is 6".... Did they stop making the 8" or what ? Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Can't even find anything about the 8inch kut-tail on yamamoto's website. Have never seen the 8inch, you sure they actually make them that big? Don't mean to doubt you, but you sure you didn't buy a knock off of the kut-tail worm or something? I have made a few searches for a 8inch kut-tail worm and haven't been able to find a single word about it, as if it was never made. :-? Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 1, 2008 Super User Posted October 1, 2008 Green Top in Ashland, Virginia, is loaded with them. They have both sizes and various colors. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 1, 2008 Super User Posted October 1, 2008 I checked my Senko drawer and I found the 5 3-inch Kut Tail and a sample package of the 6 1/2-inch Kut Tail. I know I have a smaller size in the tackle box in the car that I use for drop-shot rigs. I don't know if there is an 8-inch Kut Tail as I would not be using a worm that large, other than the Anaconda. But since you have an 8-inch Kut Tail package, you may want to invest in a long-distance call to Green Top or check out the Yamamoto web site in addition Googling "8-inch Kut Tail worm." You can Google Green Top to find their phone number. Good luck in your search. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 1, 2008 Super User Posted October 1, 2008 I have been fishing the Kut-Tail for a long time and the biggest bait I am aware of is the 6 1/2" Kahuna. 8-) Quote
family guy Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 i dont think they make a 8 inch "cut tail". i know they make a 8 inch regular "curly tail" worm, caught a 4lb smalie on one last weekend. Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 1, 2008 Super User Posted October 1, 2008 Dude, get a pack of these: regular 8 inch worms and slice the tail, voilá, there have it, 8" kut tails. BTW, you know why they are called KUT tails don 't you ? Quote

BTW, you know why they are called KUT tails don 't you ? Yes, because his nephew Kutono Yamamoto used to slice them in front of him then fish them. Thats what Gary said anyways Quote
