Guest avid Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I met SteveP at the ramp at 7am. My feelings were that this was NOT going to be a fun day. It was cold, rainy, and the wind was howling. But we bundled up and launched onto this really beautiful Lake. SteveP, is extremely knowlegeable about the lake. The wind ruled out several spots that he wanted to try but he still managed to put us on a bunch of good fish. Steve suggested a 1/4 spinnerbait. I only have one. A little japanese spinnerbait that I orderd last year whith some megabass lures. It was the best producer for me all day, but the senko, swimming senko, jerkbaits, and weighted plastics also scored. Steve and I kept trying but couldn't get a topwater bite going. To choppy I guess. Anyway, this was a great day. The sun came out in the afternoon to dry us off and warm us up a little. Great guy, good fishing, Life is good. Quote
