I went fishing on friday, the 19th. I caught my first smallmouth at about 4:30. It was close to 13 inches. No pictures because I forgot my camera, was in to much of a hurry. It was also the first fish on one of the jigs that I made. It was a black jig. :)

Congrats! I bet it is nice to catch one on a bait you made yourself. I have been thinking about trying to make some topwater and crankbaits myself. It would sure be cool to wear them out on homemade stuff!
