craigaria Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Went out again today in 35 degree weather :-? Pretty excited about this new lake! Managed to boat 8 fish today! Not quite Varner hawgs, but considering the poor weather and just learning this lake, I have a feeling that there might be some pigs there... The fish are holding on the edge of a grass flat near deeper water. There was a lot of surface activity, and at one time we had 3 or 4 bass chasing shad around and they allmost ran into the boat! Caught most of the fish on shad raps, two on spinnerbaits, and one on plastics. Looking foward to another warm up Quote

It seems that most the people that live in this neighborhood aren't really into bass fishing Quote
