Mattlures perch next to a real perch

Well I was up to my old tricks again (catching tiny perch on jerkbaits), and since I had my Mattlures perch tied on, I decided to take a picture of the two together  8-)

I caught  a decent 3 lber on it last labor day. What a great eastcoast bait! I had a bass hammer it in open water but only stay on for a second or two, then 3 casts later nailed the 3lber out of the same spot, had to be the same fish, but I cannot prove that ;D ;D

The reflective eyes is a cool touch too.

make sure to put a quick coat of super or softbait glue over the eyes before using.  they tend to fall off after the first couple fish.  I used the glue and haven't lost an eye since
