My catchin' has been slow lately, cold, rainy weather, and me being unable to locate or entice any bites except for some dinks here and there.

Went to the swamp pond and it was 'up' due to the rain lately making it muddy where I put in.  Water temp was 56F and the water was clear.

Caught the first one from the bank and then right after putting in, I caught the 3 lber.  No other bites so I quit after about 2 hours and headed over to my boss's smaller pond.  Caught 8 or 9 keepers but no pics from there.

2 lber

D/k why I held the rod that way?

As always, great pics. I see you are sticking with that swimming senko.... ;)

You are holding the rod like that because you "aint" an octopus!!  It takes some serious skill to lip a bass and snap you own pic.  Its not like you got your own production crew w/ you.

Nice job!

Thanks to y'all for the very kind words.

;D @ Al!  It can get a little fractious especially with the wind blowing me into wasp's nests :o as I try to get the camera and boat positioned with the sun in front of me.
