Decided to fish a bit after getting off work early, started off cranking for a few hours and after nothing I switched back to the trusty ol' soft plastics, worked it just like RW always says to... nice and realllllyy slow over underground structure. I was fishing from the bank and wasn't expecting too much when....

Could anyone help me judge the size of that thing? I wanna say it's around 7lbs but you know...everything just seems bigger to me =P

little video of the fish and me releasing it, nothing especial...sorry for my potty mouth near the end, I was too excited.

Fish video!

edit: lol sorry about the trash talk too =P it was for my friends who think i'm retarded/stupid/obsessed for fishing in the middle of winter...fish need to eat too!

Great job!! And VIDEO!!! Awesome.

If I had to put money on a guess for that fishs' weight, not being a jerk, I would guess no less than 3 , no more than 4.5.

Great January Bass!

PS- It isn't "trash talk" when YOU'RE the dude holding the fish. ;)
