craigaria Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I had the urge to try for some bass today after the saltwater trip last weekend. I gave ol' Ryan a call and we headed out on the water. It turns out that we picked a great day! We managed to boat 31 fish and missed quite a few also. The biggest was 6lb 14oz and we had 3 or 4 around 5lbs. Most of the fish were in the 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb range. They were fighting very strong! Quote

Guest avid Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Wow, Great day, but where are the details man? What lake, what patterns, lures, techniques etc. You can't just show off a bunch of cool pix and keep the how's and what's to yourself. By the way, whose the Billy Joel look alike? ;D excellent day dude, avid Quote

By the way, whose the Billy Joel look alike? ;D excellent day dude, avid The fish were schooling and feeding on shad. Caught most of them on a carolina rigged fluke. Caught the others on suspending jerkbaits and rattletraps. We have had a warm streak here the last week with highs in the mid seventys. These fish are allready producing eggs. My buddy kept one to eat the other night and it was slap full of eggs. I can't wait till the prespawn!!! Quote
