pickerelpiney Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 this is my last bass for the season. i would do more as the winter closes in, but shorter days mean no time to fish after work. shes 4.89lbs. : ( Quote

Low_Budget_Hooker Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 BUT THERE"S NO ICE!! DON'T GIVE UP YET!!!! I'm a UPS driver and we are in our "xmas peak" mode as of yesterday. To quote a man of men,....... If I can,...YOU can -Clay Dyer Quote
flippin4it. Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Listen to what LBH said and take notice of the quote! Fishing is during time you make/set aside. If there is no ice, make time............... Nice fish too. Quote

flippin4it. Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Look, Drums and I are going out tommorow in 15-20 MPH winds, with gusts up to 30 MPH. We are doing some pond hoping, that way we can fish down wind. LOL. Keep fishing till the bitter end... Quote
Guest avid Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 NIce fish dude, but I wouldn't quit yet. when I lived in Long Island I had some of my best days in October thru mid NOvember. Lakes are pretty empty, scenery is beautiful. By Late November it got a might chilly and the fishing got tough so I would generally hang it up for the season at that time. Quote
flippin4it. Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Like I said, Drums and I headed out to a private lake and we did pretty good. Srums nailed 2 and I landed 5 and lost 2 at/over 5 pounds....... Anyone every had a trailer hook make your spinner bait weedless and fish proof? I have, and it cost me this years PB. Quote
