How do you start a High School Bass Club?

I've been trying to look for information about bass fishing in highschool to give to my sports director at my school but it has been hard to find anything for Tennessee. I know there it is a Sanctioned sport in Illinois but I don't know if there is anyone else in the Midsouth area who is fishing in Highschool as a sport.

Orange County High School is an excellent program so contact them.

Got info from TBF and their High School program. Only thing I am confused with is how do you fish tournaments with out boats and how do you get people familiar with boats if there isn't any available

how we did it when I was in high school was we convince one of the local clubs to work with us and take one sat. or sunday a month to take our club out for our tournaments.

Call OCHS and speak with their faculty advisor.

I know they use jon boats powered by trolling motors.

I stand corrected....... HE SAID YES.

Now I have to find people.

Then I need to find people that would be kind enough to take a few of us out on the lake.

He is pretty much leaving everything to me so I'm going to try to do a good job.

If anyone in the Memphis area is willing to donate their time to help it will be greatly appreciated.
