EvilHasErrors Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Anyone in one around here? Or wanting to start one? Quote
ErichF Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I recently bought a new boat a month ago, and have decided to get back into fishing again. I haven't fished since I was a teenager, except for a stint salmon fishing while stationed in Alaska. I just started fishing lake Tarpon, and would like to get with someone that knows what they're doing for some tips on technique and lures. Cheers, Erich Quote
basslovr Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Hey Erich, my name is Dave. I live just a couple of miles from Lake Tarpon, I hear there are some really big fish caught from there, but mostly in the winter time. (January - March). I don't have a boat so have only fished from shore at the very few places that can be fished from shore, but with a boat you can get a lot more places. The outfall canal on the south end of the lake is supposedly the best fishing. Quote
brandon lynch Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I know this is an old post but I am in Spring hill/Brooksville area Quote

Dockhead Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Anyone interested in a draw format club that meets just north of Tampa should check out southpascobassmasters.com It is a fun club, low pressure, some good fisherman. Whether you are new to the game or a seasoned veteran, it is a great place to fish tournaments. Quote
claydee Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 With all the lakes in and around Tampa why can't we just get a few guys together who really like to fish, throw a couple of dollars into a pot, and fish.? Without driving to Istopoga, or God knows where else. Thonotosassa, Tarpon, hell I'd even fish the Hills. river, but I'm sure Ya'll can come up with a few more spots to fish that are right around here. I say what the Hell, why not?I just like to fish, and somethings are just better when you have good people around you. Me and my 11 yr. old son are ready, are you? Quote

You can do that if you can find people to do that. I like doing that with some buddies but it is hard to get the people together, you might be able to get people togeter on craigslist but otherwise it is kind of hard, but message me if you go and do that at tarpon because if im not busy maybe we can have a huge 2 boat tourney lol Quote
