etommy28 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 does any one have the schedule for the southern collegiant series? Quote
mase088 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 This is strait out of terms and conditions ARTICLE III. MEMBERSHIP Section 1. Member. In order to participate in the College Bass, the school they represent must be a four year program, furthermore an individual (1) must be a member of the College Bass (hereinafter referred to as "CB"); (2) an individual's school club must be registered with CB. (3) Must be enrolled as a student at the college they represent. (4) Must have a minimum of a 2.00 cumulative GPA. http://www.collegebass.com/register.aspx They don't have it specified on their main rules page, which is weird. http://collegebass.com/rules.aspx thats the link if you don't believe me. You should send Hank Weldon an email to get clarification. And for the southern collegiate send Jann Swaim one as well. But first you would have to start a club as defined by your college. If your college doesn't allow club teams then thats a shame. Etommy, the schedule for next year hasn't been created I don't think. go to www.auburn.edu/bass for info about the southern collegiate and look at the results from this years series. Quote

I would contact the people running the tournament and ask for ideas. What school you representing? We're passing on the national championship this year due to the flw college fishing tourney on the delta being the same weekend. I'm from marin county/mill valley, go to university of oregon. Quote

Lil Baby Cousin Ray-Ray Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 After seeing this post, I thought about trying to start a club at my school but the College Bass website says there is an age limit of 25 to fish the qualifiers and the Championship. Does anyone know if there are exceptions for the age limit. I was in the Navy for 6 years, but now I am out and I am going to college full time. Can anyone help me out here? Quote
etommy28 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 for FLw college fishing there is no age limit, and Im not too sure about Boat US but I dont think they do. so you should go ahead and do it. There is not reason for you to be punished for serving our country. just look around there are plenty of opertunities. What school are u at Ray-Ray? Quote
Lil Baby Cousin Ray-Ray Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 im at a junior college now but i will be transferring to Memphis and I dont think they have a club. I cant find anywhere online to find out. I know that just about every other school in Tennessee is registered through College Bass though. Quote
