BretBenton28 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I was just wondering is there any other college anglers on the site? I am the president of East Carolina University bass club. We will be fishing the Underarmour Super Regional coming up March 7-8th on Clarks Hill Lake in Georgia. Quote
bmadd Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I replied to your other post. I'm with University of Tennessee at Martin and I'll see you at the Super Regional. Quote
etommy28 Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 FGCU wont be there (its our spring break and we dont have any money) but will hopefully be at the national championship. Quote

itwasme Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 how do you go about knowing if there is a college in you're area that has a team. Quote
FHUAngler Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I'm from Freed-Hardeman University in TN, but we won't be at that tournament. We are fishing the FLW College Fishing Series and the Southern Collegiate Bass Fishing Series this spring, as well as the National Championships this summer. Quote
Mottfia Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Sup Troy U here. We'll be at the Southern Collegiate Championship and one of the FLW tournaments at Gville. Might even get crazy and go to Wheeler. lol Really looking forward to getting brutalized by those Smallies Quote
GSU_Fishing Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hey fellas, Kyle here for Ga Southern. We will def be showing up at Clarks Hill this weekend. Just look out for those trees and dont miss those center channel markers by more than two boat widths or you will either be swimming or without a lower unit. Good luck to everyone out there and drive safely. Justin, Its about time yall get to experierence some blue back herring!! Its frustrating... Quote
erau618 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I go to Southern Illinois University and am a member of the Saluki Bassers in the Central Division with too many schools where only 1 team from each school can fish. Quote
jfish986 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Ya I'm with the University of Oregon Bass team. We fish the FLW college series and the national championship in Texas. Quote

Started in 2005. Just placed 2nd in the FLW college fishing western division last weekend. Good look on getting into UO. Quote
alger319 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 you would think a college in florida would have a freakin fishin team... man this sucks, anyone need a spot filled, heck i'll transfer for a day ;D Quote
6pointbuck2003 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 It must be nice. Im from a wildlife school and have plenty of people to join a club but they dont accept 2-year colleges. it sucks Quote
mase088 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 If by "they" you mean FLW, then browse through some of the other collegiate series tournament rules, I'm pretty sure FLW is the only one that specifies that it must be a 4-year college. Quote
HunterLake Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 College fishing is sweet. Nice to see some of you guys on here. I fish for the University of Arkansas. Quote

I didnt realize that there were other ones. that the big one and i thought that it was the only one that offerd it. Quote
mase088 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 No check out collegebass.com and do a google search on the southern collegiate bass fishing series. FLW is brand new this year, but college fishing has been around for a little while. Also once you get into the loop there are some invitationals your school can get invited too. I have fished over 10 Tournaments for Auburn this year and not one has been FLW. Quote
6pointbuck2003 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 They still require a 4 year college. any one want to take me on their team for a year??? lol Quote
mase088 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 It doesn't state that it has to be a 4-year college in the college bass set of rules, or southern collegiate series. Did you actually read the rules? Quote

BattleBornBassMann Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Hey, to the U of Oregon guys: Do you guys have your own boat? Im trying to fish in the BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship, but they don't provide boats like the FLW. If you don't have a boat, can you rent one or what? What re you guys doing if you dont have one? Quote

What re you guys doing if you dont have one? For our local tourneys we get help from a local club with boats. When we've fished the collegiate championship in the past we found boaters in Texas who were willing to lend us their boat for the tournament. I'm not sure on the details as I didn't go last year.
