seeing that there all opens I may have a better chance on attending all of these with my son being born the end of April and not feeling as though I have to make it to all the *club turneys and have her give me that old drawn out look lol and feel guilty

Sign me up hope we get a good turn out on this I am sure we will ;D

Above is the current list of T's. T's w/asterisks are booked w/permits and or cleared through the appropriate authorities. Schedule was changed a bit. These will be held rain or shine and will not be cancelled for any reason, other than for safety purposes during extreme weather.

Hoping to see some new faces as well as some fimiliar ones. Basically, I'm doing this to bring people together who share a common passion. It's about the joy of fishing, more so then the competition. Don't get me wrong, feel free to brag if you win, just keep it light hearted and fun! So everyone will know up front, all DEM rules & regulations will be followed. For the night T's all participating boats must have some sort lighting as stated in that states regulation manual.

In addition, there is one main rule I will be enforcing personally, "NO LITTERING" leave no trace is my philosophy. Littering will be grounds for immediate disqualification!

Also, I will most likely be getting involved in Earth Day as well, and try to get as many boats as possible to run the Blackstone River from the Central Falls Ramp and carry out as much trash as possible. This will probably fall on April 19th or 26th 2009. Anyone interested in joining in, please contact me.

I'll continue updating the list w/dates and times as I recieve the information.

Thanks for reading :)

Here is the Waiver/Entry form for all T's. I don't foresee the T's maxing out on the 10 boat limit, yet if someone shows up at the ramp w/o being preregistered, they will unfortunately have to be denied entry.

Here are your options; You may print out the waiver/entry form and mail it to lock in a spot.

Email or PM me and I'll put you on the list, then print out the waiver/entry form and bring it w/you.

I will also have extra waiver/entry forms with me at the ramp.

A signed waiver form is required for all entry's

I am the witness so leave that space blank.

It looks like Norton may have to be rescheduled. The Norton Reservoir conservation committee has changed their minds and they now want everyone one involved to have boaters insurance. I'll have to see how many interested actually have boaters insurance on their 8' crawdads ;D That's what I get for trying to do it by the book! ::)

I'll be talking with them again this morning, and see how it goes.

UPDATE; Blackstone River Watershed Council / Friends of the Blackstone ... Volunteers needed for Cleanup- Sunday March 29th, 8:30am Central Falls Landing ...

Soooooo, the Blackstone River T, Central Falls RI, has been turned into a full day T rather than a clean-up. APRIL 19th 7-3pm

Thought I'd add this article; Swimmable?   :-?

Suzanne Buchanan, now the Director of Volunteers, was a child working on the cleanup over 25 years ago. Refreshments and lunch were offered and hundreds of people worked together with a mission and a vision. That mission continues to evolve with a goal of a fishable/swimmable river by 2015. Let's all work together to make sure that dream comes true!
