LJ Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Do you know where the fish live? I have sucked all weekend. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 8, 2007 Super User Posted December 8, 2007 Maybe you guys should stick to fishing and forget Bama football. 6 and 6, with a lucky win over Arkansas? Nothing to get overly excited about. OK, in all honesty, while at LSU Satan lost to UAB and also defeated Notre Dame in the I-Bowl. So be patient. As for Tubby and Auburn, he has to stay at least one more year to have himself and his coaches be vested in the Alabama Retirement System. So Tubby is not going anywhere, other than to keep the streak alive against Bama. As for Tubby going to A&M opr Arkansas, you could forget that thought right after it was mentioned. A&M has bid problems and Arkansas is in the toilet after this season. Now you guys go fishing this winter as the rest of us freeze our fannies off! Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted December 13, 2007 Super User Posted December 13, 2007 Ex Bama(Trussville) living in Houston. Welcome Quote

Hombre Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I am not only new to this board but also new to Alabama. Retired Marine and just moved to Albertville AL about 10 min from the boat ramp at Guntersville. Put the Bass Boat into Alabama water for the first time this morning. Fished the rip rap with a creature and a worm and caught (9) largemouth to about three lbs or so in about 20 min. Drifted up by a bridge and threw a jig and started catching Crappie, so i switched to a little ol 1/8th ounce hair jig and just murdered them crappie. kept a few to eat and just had a ball catching them. As i said man o man what a lake!! I am new to this area and don't know anyone, anybody got a heads up on a bass club, and maybe finding a fishing partner would be a cool thing. Hombre Quote

RichardE Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Hate to bust up this BAMA/Auburn love fest as I an LSU fan. We have lived in AL for 18 years and love it here. This is a great place to live if you enjoy the outdoors and nice landscape. AL has some great lakes, when you list them it is a pretty long list. Maybe we should plan a fishing get together. I have a huge pot and can throw in some shrimp, corn and taters for a low country boil. We can come in off the water, tell fishing lies and eat with our hands. What do ya'll think?? Quote
Chad Wolbach Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 I like to see all of my fellow Alabama folx here. ROLL TIDE By the way, this might be just something that we like around here but anyone ever seen "Outdoors with T.K. & Mike- Bass Fishin'"? If you havent, you have to check it out. Quote
reggers Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Hey Fort Mitchell (Phenix city) here, well actually in a few more weeks. Been in and out of the area complements of the Army but retiring this year after my return from Iraq in a few weeks. Anyway looking to make some good friends as all I know is work and a house full of females. Love to fish however the Army has left me little time so I always go with the wife who also has the fever. Spent allot of time fishing all over Fla with my Dad and look to make a few good friends to spend allot of time on the water or telling great lies around the BBQ pit. Anyway we have a house in Fort Mitchell and I usually run Eufala and Harding. Quote
