The VA bass club I'm joining is in the midst of trying to decide if they should keep affiliation with FLW or switch over to BASS.  Since I've just joined the club (first meeting was last night) I really don't know enough about the issue to make an informed decision.  Anything you members can tell me about FLW vs. BASS would be helpful.

Easy question; difficult answer.

What is your state federation doing?  Are they staying with B.A.S.S. or moving to FLW?

This is a question that many may not want to answer on the thread.  Whatever Hillbilly Hooker says is probably correct so take his advice.

For now, my bass club belongs to both. But in 2007 that will change.

That is a hard question to answer. Here in Pa we had a big split in 2006. Half of  the state's club went to FLW the other half stayed with BASS, some both. Some that went to FLW are coming back to BASS and some that stayed are moving for next year

It just depends on what the club thiks is better for the club.

Mine stayed with BASS.
