starting a bass club

how should i start a new bass club? what do i need to do first?  how do i get people in it?

Not that i have done this before but i would believe the following would help.

-Come up with a name

-Have a reason and meaning behind the club

-Get people to support and join your club

-Appoint positions in the club such as president, vice, treasurer etc.

-Arrange meets and plan events or just have get togethers for the local members

TO get people to join, i think this is the perfect place to start.

Also talk to other buddies and other fisherman about the club.

I dont think starting a club would be any good unless you stand for something meaningful and actually be active with it. Just my 2 cents though.
