lynyrdsky1 Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Lynyrdsky1, a school's fishing club can assign whatever requirements they wish, but most Universities enforce that all students interested be able to join since it is a public school. I would look into that if I were you. Email the club President and clarify the requirements. I've emailed the president before but have never gotten a response Quote
Big Fish Rice Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 I've emailed the president before but have never gotten a response Sounds as if you'll have to track them down yourself. You can start by visiting Alabama's Faceboook Athletics page. If I were you, I would leave a comment on their wall or message anyone that I can find. Tell them you are looking for the fishing club contact! http://www.facebook.com/home.#!/AlabamaAthletics If this doesn't work, call the school's sports department. Someone should be able to get you in the right direction. Quote
dhami013 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Best advice, choose a school based off of what you think your career plans are, get to that school, get a feel for how hard your classes and adjusting is going to be, then start looking for tournaments. Quote
bigbassctchr101 Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 We had an issue with a guy that was in the service then came back. I believe we were able to get him qualified to fish. i believe little rules like this can be tweaked because its a newer sport in college series. So rules are still being set up and bent so that they are better to accomadate other people. Quote
