bigbaitfisher Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Does anyone have experience with creating a fishing show? Our goal is to have it run on local access, with the ultimate plan to have it picked up by a big station such as ESPN or Versus. I'm looking for any advice anyone may have to offer. I have a plan of my own, but I've never done this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Eternal Angler Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Start from the bottom and work your way up. First off start with a website, put videos on there, build traffic to your site. Once you become popular and fully noticed, then maybe you can do a proposal to a big network. YouTube is great way to get exposure. Quote

Even on a local station, you need a big budget to pay for gear and crew. Local stations won't accept fuzzier sound quality than they already provide. Youtube will put you on a national level. It is how a few television shows started out. Quote
