westpalmfrogpunk Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I finally got hold of a a news paper article that was published about a freind and myself fishing lake Champlian in a Florida news paper and to be used in the accomplished outdoor writer's upcoming bass fishing book. The article includes a large photo of me clearly showing the gear I was using. My main question is should I send copies of this to the manufactures or just let it go get it framed and be happy it happened. Thanks Guys WestPalmfrogpunk Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted October 19, 2009 Super User Posted October 19, 2009 Send it to them , what's the worse thing that can happen ? Answer---------nothing. Quote
bigbaitfisher Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Totally agree. Send them the picture and a letter, maybe even an article on WHY you choose the gear you use. I had a friend do this, and although I pointed him in the right way through my contacts with the company, he's now sponsored by them and gets ALL of his rods for free. All for catching a fish. Quote
