I am trying to move from small time clubs to the big circiut tournaments but I would really like to secure some sponsors just for tackle sake. any help would be well great.

Summary:

My major goals for this year and others to come is to advance my fishing knowledge and to pass on what I learn and already know to fishermen and women who are just starting out or who are just looking for answers. I will work very hard to achieve sponsors and to work harder to keep them.

Personal:

     Date of Birth: August 09,1972

     Married with one child

I enjoy spending time at home with my family and doing things with them due to my travel schedule with work has allowed me limited time for that this past year. We live on a lake and enjoy just boating in general, swimming and having a good time outside. I enjoy watching movies and being with friends and family. One thing to add about our lake is every year we have a charity children's fishing tournament in which I support and work. Every child leaves with a gift and a smile!

Affiliations:

Member of BASS since early 1980's

Work History:

     Boeing St. Louis

Field Service Rep for the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System

I travel around the world assisting and training the USAF and other countries Air Forces and Navy's how to use and trouble shoot this system.

Angling History:

Central Illinois Bass Anglers formally Falling Springs Bass Club

     Tiki Bar Bass Club

Most of my fishing has been with these medium sized clubs with only a few BFL and BASS weekend series tournaments. With the past I had 2 first place finishes and 2 second place finishes including big bass with CIBA bass club. The Tiki Bar Bass Club is my neighborhood club being that we live on the lake and compete every Sunday. It is very competitive with an average of 20 to 30 boats. I have placed in the top 5 with most of the tournaments I fished the past year. I even finished 4th place on our two day year end classic without my partner with a total of 24.33 pounds only a few onces from 3rd place.

This year I am planning to fish as many BFL tournaments in the LBL and Rend Lake series as possible along with the two clubs I am involved in. In the past my job had me out of the country during most of the season but this year the schedule has changed to allow me to fish more.

Would like to see something that says what you could or be willing to do for sponsors. Work shows, work on getting local retailers to sell the sponsors product at there stores, give seminars. What type of work are you willing to trade to be sponsored by a company?

What about your education history? Do you currently do any kind of community service?

Looks like you are leaning more towards the fishing side of things, let me tell you that is one of the last things most companies are looking at right now. Millions of anglers are excellent fishermen what sets you apart from them?
