Hey, I'd appreciate it if some knowledged members could give me a couple pointers. Of course I know that perhaps winning a few tournaments would help, but this is all I have for now. Thank you.

Also, if any companies are interested, feel free to contact me.

Hello,

My name is Mark Kozazcki II and I hope that you will take my application into consideration. My resume has been attatched.

Here's a little about myself and my future plans.

Bio/Background:

I am currently 17 years old (18 on May 31st) and a senior at Ipswich High school (Massachusetts). I have been fishing my entire life, but it wasn't until sophomore year of high school that I really got into it. After watching a few FLW tournaments on TV, I knew that I had found what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Fishing became my sport and the following year I did not sign up for football so that I could learn as much as possible about bass fishing. The problem that I found was that freshwater fishing is not common in my part of Massachusetts, because I live on the coast where saltwater dominates between the two. The closest club is over two hours away, and being limited on money and transportation made joining it impossible. That being said I have never fished a competitive tournament and that may turn a lot of companies away, but they should first take into consideration the amount of impact I have on the community I am in. I am well-known in this part of Massachusetts for the size of bass that I am able to land and people are always asking me for advice. I have even had people in retail stores recognize me from pictures I had posted online. I frequent between 6-7 forums daily, 2 of them are very well known (Bassresource.com and BillDanceOutdoors). This year, I was asked by one of the teachers to be the Yearbook Business Manager and of course, I said yes and took on the task. Come to find out, I had to travel around the town and try to raise money through advertisements from the local businesses, which taught me how to sell myself/ideas. Last Summer I was hand selected by a majority of the school's teachers to take part in a program put on by Northeastern University called Mentors In Violence Prevention (MVP). In order to find students to partake in this program, the teachers were asked to choose the top 15 students who were most looked up to by other students, and I was one of them. I have never done drugs nor touched alcohol and my reputation is extremely high because of that.

Future Plans:

I currently have a 3.61 GPA and with report cards coming out next week it's going no where but upwards. I've given school my 100% ever since elementary school, knowing that I can accomplish anything if I put my heart to it. I may be fishing a couple Youth tournaments here in Massachusetts within the next couple of months in order to get a taste of what competitive fishing is like. All of the youth events are over a two hour drive but if I am able to compete then I will surely make the drive. I was accepted into NC State University a couple of weeks ago and will be attending the college next Fall. I am beyond excited to fish on the collegiate level and August couldn't come soon enough. I am currently signed up to major in Fisheries, but I may be changing that to Marketing as that would probably help me more. After college, depending on if I have enough support, I will either be going straight into professional bass angling or take a few years to raise money and publicity through local tournaments somewhere while working a second job. I know that I have the drive needed to succeed in such a competitive sport and if I am chosen to represent ******* I would be more than honored to spread your name not only with fellow fishermen (both online and offline) but with fellow students as well and represent your company to the highest degree.

Update: I have 3 scheduled Youth Tournaments:

- May 10th: Wakeby Pond, MA (Qualifier)

- June 1st: Singletary Lake, MA (Qualifier)

- July 13th: Congamond Pond, MA

If you have any questions feel free to contact me (contact info on resume).

Thank you very much for you time,

Mark Kozazcki II
