Ben Lipiec Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 when you give a potential sponsor a collateral package what all do you include in it? In my folder i have on the left my cover letter followed by my resume then behind that is is a xeroxed copy of several print appearances i have made. On the right i have a 8.5x11 color photo of me and my business card. I have been thinking about adding a DVD in a sleeve in one of the pockets. It would be sort of like a highlight video of me fishing, at weigh-ins, giving seminars, working sports shows, etc. ben Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 27, 2007 Super User Posted December 27, 2007 There is a post on this forum from a guy who has sponsors and he decided to give his prospective sponsors some interesting information. He counted the number of times he drove to places; went to meetings; went to or gave seminars; went fishing; etc. and then gave the numbers of people who would see his sponsor's ad. By doing this he can tell the sponsor that his ad will be seen by "X" number of people. Try to find the post as it is very interesting. Good luck. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 27, 2007 Super User Posted December 27, 2007 Found it! A MUST READ down below. See what he did. A one sheet of paper with this data on it could make a big difference if you get or do not get a sponsor to list with you. Always show the sponsor what you can do for them in return for their sponsorship. Quote
