Skeet22 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Boyd thinks the havoc pit boss designed by skeet is the real deal and I beleive it after him showing me what is does in the water vs a Beaver. Its basically a beaver with way more action. He said he is not crazy about the idea that Skeet designed it and not him but its a killer bait. He prefished in Venice using a Beaver and the pit boss and the pit boss out performed 3:1. This dude is prob one the most honest pros when it comes to baits. He pretty much said Berkley has too many useless baits and they are just now starting to really let the pros design the baits such as the chigger craw and they are moving in the right direction now. Super User Alpster Posted February 21, 2011 Super User Posted February 21, 2011 Well, I just want to say thanks to "Misty Harbor" boats, "Shimano" reels and "G.Loomis" rods for helping me cast those "Culprit" worms and "Arkie" jigs which are tied to my "Yo Zuri" line with a "Tie Fast" knot tyer and BassResource.com for my fishing experience. I'm jus sayin......... Ronnie Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 21, 2011 Super User Posted February 21, 2011 If I go pro, I want Immodium AD to wrap my boat. That or Tide detergent for their boat bailer/portable jon. ;D ;D ;D Quote
Md Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 You mean like this? ;D Found this on Youtube a while back. Quote
SDoolittle Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I'd like to know how many KVD 1.5's get shipped out tomorrow from all the tackle outlets around the country. ;D TW is already sold out of the 1.5 and 2.5 chart/black back. Back ordered for a month. ;D Last year, I fished a tournament in Texas the weekend after the Classic. We had a fog delay (imagine that), and as we waited on the fog to lift, I started looking at what everyone had tied on. I didn't see a single boat (mine included) that didn't have at least one rod on the deck with a Red Eye Shad tied on. Quote
hookingem Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 I understand the product pushing, it's the mens lively hood. They wouldn't get any money by not publicly pushing their sponsors products. Quote
Georgia Jeff Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I could careless, if I depended on sponsorship money to make a living then I would plug them any chance I got, especially if it kept my family and I secure financially and I had a contractual obligation. I do have a problem though with those pros who really don't believe in the product and/or actually use it. The classier pros I believe are selective and actually believe in the product and you can see and sense that. I really believe that Aaron Martens loves his Pheonix bass boat and his statements were REAL when speaking at the Classic final weigh-in this year. I didn't see any of this on the TV coverage. Where you guys there? Quote
