You'll have to be more specific.  Go to jig for what?  Define the situation you'll be fishing with jigs soon.

1/2 oz Skinny Bear Elite Football Jig w/ a Chigger Craw trailer

Posted

this is the advice i got from my thread that i posted asking about jigs:

1)start small & cheap cause you're bound to lose some, i bought bitsy bugs

2) start simple don't worry about color but rather about how to detect hits etc.

3) match trailer & jig colors

i think this might've been said already. ;D

I love Booyah Jigs, Especially 5/16oz Baby Boo in Black/blue or any shades of green/brown.

Terminator jigs are pretty nice also, along with Eakins jigs. Although if you want a really nice jig, check out Keitech Jigs.

A handmade jig called the Senko77 Special that Gman makes.

Shoot Gman a pm.  He makes top notch jigs for dirt cheap.....and they freaking wax the fish.

IN my book their is only one jig, the Rattlehead jig. I just recieved my order from Dow yesterday. Its like Christmas getting to go to the mailbox knowing what should be there. I just got 3 dozen (18 black/blue and 18 texas craw) in 3/8 and 1/2 ounce. Guys these are the best out there. I just sold all my lunker lure, booyah, SK, terminators, well all my jigs and replaced them with Rattleheads. I bought a couple to try and they beat my expectations so I was hooked after. Thanks Dow for the quick shipping and making such a great jig.(and buzzbait:o)
