-nick- Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I've heard a lot about this does it really work that well? Is it worth the ten dollars? Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Its a great scent. I use it on all my soft plastics and I find it works great. I Don't use it on skirted baits such as jigs, but always on all my soft plastics. Very easy to apply as its a gel based scent, not messy and its effective, what more can you ask for in a scent? For jigs I prefer Yum Crawfish spray. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted September 14, 2008 Super User Posted September 14, 2008 It is worth it if it will give you confidence with your presentations. In performance, it is no better or worse than any other brand. Quote
FR0G Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 I think scents at times can help, but I have caught plenty of bass without it, and plenty of bass with it. It doesn't really help me. Pretty soon you get dependent on it, and if you don't use it you feel as if you aren't gonna catch anything. That is what happens to me, so I try not to use it too much. Just as a lube on my swimbaits. Quote

MichBassMan Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 $10 for a tube, with about 500 or more little dabs in each tube it equates to about .02 or (2 cents) per application. It sure don't hurt and makes baits more snagless do to its lubricity. I also smear a little up the first couple feet of my line to lessen abrasion. I'm convinced it makes fish hang on a little longer, even with just a little on my jig trailer. I don't know if it's the scent or the taste but to me it does make a differance. Quote
