I'm coming up from Florida to be a co-angler in the Northern Open in Sep. Looking to share expenses and get in a few practice days (13-15 Sep).

Your locations and techniques are my secret not to be shared with whoever I get in the tournament draw.

Look forward to some Maryland hospitality and willing to return the favor if you come to Central Florida.

Sorry I can't help you but I do have a question for you....

I'm thinking of doing either the FLW or Bassmaster's Open Series tournaments for this region get year. Was it hard for you to get a spot in the tournament? It seems like the spots would fill with all the advanced entries. I'd love to fish the same tournament that you are this year, but its too short notice haha

its very easy to get in as a coangler and there is still time to get in on this years tournament.  all you have to do is sign up, first come first serve.  if you sign up as a pro You may be put on a waiting list to see if more coanglers sign up.they have to have the same amount of pros and cos.

boneil - Thanks for the info! What I meant when I said it's too short notice is I'd need to get the money together and I want to buy a couple extra rods and stock up on the lures before I go :P I want to plan ahead for next year because I'd only rush and fail if I tried getting in now haha.

DoD - Sorry no one has answered you yet, I hate to steal your thread! If I was closer to the bay, I'd help you out but I'm a good 4 hour drive from it.
