The video-game fishing is weak IMHO.

This view point always makes me laugh.

Marking schools of fish and getting them to bite as you sit directly over them is a definite skill.

I have a much harder time doing that than finding a section of weeds/points/drop offs and catch fish.

I agree. About one out of a thousand video game fish will actually bite . You can also video game fish with a 2D graph that cost about $100, works great for crappie

There's some threadromancy at work here...

 

Based on page 1 though, I find it amusing that ten years ago when this thread was started, Side Imaging was thought to be so good it was basically cheating. LoL

I've got it. You know what it shows me? Weeds. Weeds for days. I can see them with my eyes as well, lol. Money well spent.
