Does anyone fish a week night tournament trail? If so, what is the cost? How much % is the payout at the ramp? Is there a membership fee? How many boats? How many Divisions? ;D

The one club I belong to holds Wednesday night tournaments. We are located in NW Ohio. They are open team tournaments. We fish in NE Indiana and SE Michigan. $10 per boat and $1 big bass. No big money but alot of fun. If you live in the area and are looking for a small club to join, both of our clubs are taking new members. I am also starting a Midwest Sportsman Circuit in the Angola/Fremont Indiana area. This will be for bigger money and a great classic in the fall.

week night tournament series, Thursday nights

are TNT series They alternate lakes every other week between Alum Creek and O'Shawnessy resevoirs. They start at 5:30 and go to last safe light.Fees are 15.00 a week per person and 5.00 for big bass for the team

They fish from April to September and the top 70 percent go to a fish off.Point leaders for the year get free entry for the next year and 2 custom made rods.

The other is Midwestern Bass

They have a similar format but are on wednesday nights starting at 6:00 pm Dont know much abot this series as it is relatively new

In Wisconsin we have a great Wed tournament. Its only $10 to get in. I think about a 95-100% payback. Tourney director fishes for free. He lets you volunteer twice in a year to help him bump and weigh in. For doing this you get the #1 and #2 takeoff order for the

starting positions, depending on who volunteered first. The rest of the positions are drawn for.  You also have to come in 15 minutes early for this benefit. Some lakes are small, so if there are a lot of boats there, its wise to volunteer, especially if your on fish.  $5 club fee, one time registration. Covers mailings and the like.  We fish from 6PM til sunset.  I find it a great way to break up the week and I thoroughly enjoy it.

Well my turn I guess....lol.  NBAA has 45 weeknight tournaments, and the cost is $40 a boat (if they get into big bass) $35 if not.  Pay out at the ramp pays out 100% usually two spots with cash for 10 boats.  There is a yearly memebership fee of $25/$60 for 3 years till April then it will go up to $30/$75 for 3years.  We have 20 weekends and 1 Non-Profit kids trail.  Nbaa is expanding into LA, TX and more all the time.  Glad I am not the owner...lol.  To grow from 40 division to over 65 as I write this in one year.  So, does anyone besides me, think that one day team trails will offer some big money in the Future?

Well maybe for the whole week it will be, with two big tournaments held that week.  If ya can come down to watch it try to make it.  I should have a booth there for the youth program and some product sponsor stuff....don't really know what Jim S. has planned for me that week, but I am fishing the weekend classic on Sun and Mon.  I might be on the water with a video camera to get the weeknight classic on tape for him...nothing said yet..I don't think he knows how well I can steady a camera...lol....shake shake shake ....lol  Where are you out of?  What division?
