15 pounds a day is correct....if yer guessin the total weight of the lures lost to snags per day

my guess is if you got 7 to 8 pounds after 2 days you will be fishing for a million.

my bud just finished 2nd in a tourney out of the mon with just over 6 pounds and that was with a 6 fish limit and nintey some boats in the field.

Why must you start a second thread where you basically belittle the whole FLW cup being in Pittsburgh? Wasn't your other thread enough?

Some of us may be appreciative and actually excited to see it all over again, like we were when the Classic was here in 2005.

When I was down there in 2005 I had the time of my life. And the best truly shined at the end. It is going to be another great tournament.

I understand it may not be exciting to see limits of fish weighing just a few pounds compared to limits weighing 20+. But seeing a tournament where you have to capitalize on every bite, be extremely versatile and very efficient is exciting. Seeing weigh-ins where cuts are made and checks are decided by ounces is very exciting. Listening to these same guys who make 20+ bags look easy talk about how hard it is to scrape together a 5 or 6 lb bag and how it took every bit of experience, knowledge, and even luck to do it, pretty cool man.

From the pros mouth who fished in 2005, catching bass was no problem, most reported catches of 30 bass or more a day, problem was, they were mostly short fish.    

  Fast forward to now, Ike prefished before offlimit period and still reports a ton of 2 yr old smallies on 6-8 inches long.

     2005 big bass was a little over 3lbs correct?    

The FLW didn't go to Three Rivers because of the oustanding fishery at hand, they went there cause Pittsburgh ponied up the most money for them to come.

  15 lbs a day on 5 five on Three Rivers.       Don't think it comes close.   Ike thinks that 6-8 lbs a day will have you making the cut.

In 2005, anglers didn't have problem catching fish, catching keepers was another thing.

6-8 pounds a day will win it, if not less. When I was there in the expo center they had a big board showing the number of fish caught and number of keepers and I remember Gary Klein having caught over 40 fish a day but they were just all those 8-10" fish. My buddy is down there fishing the TBF Youth World Championship and he is having the same problem even up north in Kittening, all 10" fish.

Don't forget Biffle snuck in too. 8-)
