bocraw Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 What happened to the Amistad Tournament on ESPN2? Either my DVR didn't pick it up or they didn't show it this weekend. Quote
Bassnajr Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I didn't get it either BO..... If I know B.A.S.S. / E.S.P.N. they are making all the tournaments Pay Per View!!!!!! : ajr Quote
eastkybass Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It is going to be on this week. Not sure why they did this way but when I went looking around that is what I figured out. Quote

Super User South FLA Posted March 25, 2009 Super User Posted March 25, 2009 The editing team over at ESPN has put BASS on the back burner it seems. I had the same issue thinking my DVR was not working correctly. Quote
fatbass Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Sweet! I thought the DVR missed too. Wanna see that Iaconnelli giant. Quote
bocraw Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 Did you guys catch the poor editing? Gary Klein was fishing in the morning with a hood on and set the hook with a bait-caster. He landed a fish in the afternoon with a spinning reel...I've noticed that stuff before but never that blatant... Quote

I didn't notice it outright, but remember thinking a baitcaster's drag doesn't click :-?. Also, I think ESPN has Zona playing chicken commentator, he even joked about it, it seemed. Quote
DunnFishing Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 JM airs the show when ESPN tells them when they can air it. It's not a JM thing it's an ESPN thing. BASS is very, very important to JM and they do their best for that show that budget allows. As far as editing, you do what you can with what you have, sometimes it works and sometimes you just don't have the shots. Quote
