J.McKnight Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Me and a group of guys from Oklahoma actually hung out with Ike at Falcon last week, he was down there fishin since it is close to Amistad and Amistad was off limits for the Tournament. He was cool as hell, we all ate at a little mexican resturant there in Zapata and all followed each other around the lake fishing. It was really cool and he is not putting on a show during the tournaments thats how he is when he is "JUST FISHING" yelling screaming and nutts. We had an AWESOME trip. We caught a ton of fish and had a blast.... Quote

The_Natural Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Having met KVD, Ike, and couple of others; Ike is the most down to earth angler on tour. I may relate to him a little more because I don't fit the profile of your average fisherman like Ike. Ike seems like a guy who would hit the club, tear up the dance floor, and take some shots before calling it a night....only to wake up and win a tournament the next day. I love it! Quote
