If there is a good shallow cranking bite, don't count Clunn out. He and Casey Ashley are my 2 picks.

1. Skeet (came close on Lay fishing up river; if the jig bits is on, he's got a shot)..

2. R Howell- (grew up fishing shallow grass in AL, and he can junk fish with the best of them).

3. K. Jordan (knows the river well; great grass fisherman and he'll figure out how to catch the right ones).

Esay pick is Hackney, but I think the pressure may be too much, with everyone picking him to win ala Russ Lane at Lay.

I don't know who I think will win but I got to go with Martens for second because thats what he does...lol.

KVD, Evers, and Horton are always contenders for sure.  And I wouldn't mind seeing Clunn finish high either.

The beauty of competitive fishing on this level is that you never know who will take it.  Who doesn't love a sport like that?

The guy I did NOT pick for my fantasy team but who I want to win is Gary Klein.  If I could pick 6 on a team he would be my #6 pick.

I will be watching closely to see who fishes out of tin boats.  Being a fan of aluminum boats, I am going to pull for whoever is fishing out of the aluminum boat and getting in the gnarliest stuff he can find.

I can't wait to watch it on ESPN 360!

how about Peter T he has to do good eventually, kenon hill he knows river fishin, and lets say terry scrogins agian river fisherman

Bobby Lane

Florida boy with the conditions dictating to his strength of shallow water pitching into heavy cover overflown creeks.

Plus from what I hear, he's the coolest most down to earth guy on tour.

Just found this thread....I quess I will be the only one saying.... Byron Velvick will finally show something....he has been really focused on his fishing the last year...and he makes Martens squirm!!!

1). Velvick

2). Hackney

3). Horton...(ProCraft Guy!!!)

Good call that far out, atleast after day two.  That being said I like Ike.
