Bass Dude Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 There is just under 2 months until The Classic. What are your predictions for the top three finishers? Mine: 1. Greg Hackney 2. Dean Rojas 3. Kelly Jordan Quote
Super User Catt Posted December 30, 2008 Super User Posted December 30, 2008 The Red River in February will be one tuff nut to crack In no particular order: Todd Faircloth & Greg Hackney: masters at flipping/pitching Rick Clunn: the Zen Master could be poised to pull of an unprecedented 5 Classic win Quote
zbass Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 1. Swindle. He's due for a good finish after the twoyears he's had. 2. Klein. No more seconds. 3. A Martin. Same reason as Klein. Quote
Pitchinkid Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 1. Faircloth 2. A.Martens 3. Vandam Quote

Super User Tin Posted December 30, 2008 Super User Posted December 30, 2008 Kim Bain 8-) Only cause she's cute 8-) KVD HACK ATTACK SKEET???....you never know....lol If he does I will bleach my hair blonde.... It's Klein's time. Either he will win it on a jig or Clunn will take it on on one of his LC 1.5's. Sad to not see Biffle or Brauer in it. I would have put all my pennies on one of those two. Quote
bassnleo Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Said this every year for the past 4-5. I'd really like to finally see Gary Klein get it done. Quote
preach4bass Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 1. Swindle. He's due for a good finish after the twoyears he's had. 2. Klein. No more seconds. 3. A Martin. Same reason as Klein. According to your list that's where he's going to come in. ;D Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 31, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 31, 2008 I can say with great confidence that Swindle will not win it this year. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 I can say with great confidence that Swindle will not win it this year. He is still serving a suspension from the 07 Classic "Drive-By". Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 31, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 31, 2008 Good guess, but no. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 Hard to win a tournament for which you did not qualify. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 Good guess, but no. ;D That one he got DQ'd in was the only chance he had. Lost a big bag that day that would have had him 3-4 pounds back going into the final day. Quote
zbass Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 My mistake. I guess you can't win a tourny you didn't qualify for, DUH! Guess that makes Klein my #1 Thanks for correcting me. Would you call that a senoir moment? Guess I'm just wanting him to do well. Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 31, 2008 Super User Posted December 31, 2008 1. Ike 2. Ish 3. KVD OK, so I have lost my mind. But you got to admit it is a totally different list then what has been posted. ;D Quote
Md Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 1. Edwin Evers 2. Greg Hackney 3. Todd Faircloth Evers always gets overlooked but that cat is one of the most versatile on the tour...and he's finished well at the Red River in the past. Hackney is due. Faircloth is on fire. But I'm really pulling for Dave Wolak as he is a fellow NEPAer!!! Quote
GSU_Fishing Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Its either gonna be won on a jig or a crank bait. Its river fishing which means reaction baits even in Feb!! 1. Im liking the Hack Attack. 2. You can never count out KVD. 3. Kim Bain...It would absolutely put female fishing on the map because they deserve to be there with the big boys!! Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted January 3, 2009 Super User Posted January 3, 2009 Aaron Martins Bobby Lane Bill Lowen Quote
Ky_Lake_Dude Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Greg hackney since he's been around that area all his life Quote
The Next KVD Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 1. Hack Attack 2. Vandam 3. Bain 4. Reese 5. A. Martans Theres my prediction for the top 5 places. Quote
