hjerk24 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 Hite had a 7 pounds 6 oz. yesterday..what's up with the 7' 1 oz. from Hackney...as the big bass???? Quote
UPS VT Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 With the regular elite series tournaments they give out a big bass prize for each day, and the biggest of the tournament gets twice the money. I am not sure if they do the same thing at the classic. Quote
hjerk24 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 I just need to know the big bass of the tourney which was 7'6oz.....yesterday. If they do it by day, then I'll not re-post about that. Sorry. Quote
UPS VT Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I can't believe I am saying this, but at this point I hope Skeet pulls it out. The lesser of two evils IMO ;D Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 You have to acknowledge your sponsors. They have faith in you and you must thank them Quote
hjerk24 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 Would really complete his career....I think he's a pretty cool guy. Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Can IKE hold on????? I think hes gonna pull it off ??? Quote
UPS VT Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Unless they were off with the estimates, (they certainly could be) Skeet seems like the only one with a chance to beat him. Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I dont understand why Ike is not in the Super 6. Were the weights listed earlier wrong? Quote
hjerk24 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 He's on the HOT seat already...he already weighed in. Super 6 is the top 6 from yesterday. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted February 22, 2009 Super User Posted February 22, 2009 It was prediction base on day 2 weight I think. Skeet and Fralick needs at least 16 pounds to beat Ike, so it going to be CLOSE!!! Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Is it just me or up to this point has Ike been subdued and, dare I say it... almost a class act? No screaming (if he wins I'm sure that will change), no sense of entitlement, no arrogance... Quote
Super User Root beer Posted February 22, 2009 Super User Posted February 22, 2009 In 2003 Ike claimed in his book that he was asked to do break dance after his victory. Lets listen and see what happens. Quote
UPS VT Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 The last estimates I had seen did not have anyone within 3 lbs of Skeet and Ike. Does anyone know how they come up with the estimates? Quote
hjerk24 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 What kinda jerk do people think he is. He is just an excitable angler. Imagine if you won the clasic...how might we respond...pretty darn much. Quote

Does anyone know how they come up with the estimates? Cameramen and reporters sending message back to blog writers. They are amateurs at it. ;D Quote
UPS VT Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I just don't like it when he freaks out when he catches a small bass. I would like to just see him put a small fish like that in the live well and move on. Quote
Super User Root beer Posted February 22, 2009 Super User Posted February 22, 2009 Down to 2 more anglers. Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 d**n, that was very classy of Ike to say. Sounds like he has matrured Quote

Imagine if you won the clasic...how might we respond...pretty darn much. I don't think he's a jerk... excitable? yes... loud? definately... annoying? occasionally... but definitely not a jerk. I know a few people who have met him and they've all said off the water he's a really chill and one of the most approachable anglers on the tour. Quote
Bassnajr Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 IKE has PASSION!!! Not to mention that love him or hate him..he is GREAT for bass fishing. When will people realize what bass fishing would be without him??? Quote
hjerk24 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 I think people take his excitement as annoying, which could be understandable...skeets weighing in...in a few...goto go. Quote
