T-Bone Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Now that the the first 2 days have been fished and the cut has been made, who do you think will win the Classic? My vote is for Skeete Reese. I think he will pull it out. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 22, 2009 Super User Posted February 22, 2009 Kelly Jordon or Aaron Martens Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I'm rooting for a couple CA guys, Aaron or Skeet Quote
dman Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I think Aaron Martens has a few #2 classic fineshes...Im rooting for him to finally get the win Quote
ProCrafter Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Gotta go with Wolak... with his Spinning Gear Pattern he is doing something no one else is doing and this might help him handle the "Pressured Fish" problem that is hampering others. Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Don't know anything about Fralick but with two 19lb days I've got to put him in my top 3. And if it turns out to be a finesse day like they're saying it's going to be I'm going with Evers or Ike could make a big jump over some of the other guys. Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 22, 2009 Super User Posted February 22, 2009 Ike. Ike will get those extra five pounds to inch out Boyd after he and Boyd race to the weigh-in together. Boyd will do his rap dance as Ike does his spin dance after each fish is caught. Both will yell, "Never give up" and start hitting each other over their heads with their rods as they race up the river to Bossier City, clashing on the river and hitting each other's boat, like Junior did last week when he took out Vickers. (No one says they are from Shreveport anymore so it is Bossier City) Jamie will see Kim Baine and start to talk to her about kangaroos in Australia and be late for the weight-in, putting him in third place. A mental health expert will be on hand to speak with KVD on why he did not make the 25 man cut. It will get exciting as Ike comes on to win his second Classic. And then again......... ;D ;D ;D Quote
UPS VT Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Edwin Evers... Ike will be so busy cheering for himself after he catches a 1 lbs bass that he can't possibly win. If he would shut up and fish he could be one of the best Quote

Bassnajr Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 In an earlier post, I had picked IKE and Timmy Horton....and I still feel if Tim hadn't been sick, both would have been in the top five, and one probably would have won. IKE grew up fishing rivers don't forget....as of right now, IKE is in second about a pound back, and just brought a 5 lber. into the boat. Those kind of fish on a day like today will win the Classic!!! let's hope he knows where a few more are!!!!! ajr Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 As of 1:37 Ike is leading. Come on Skeet! Quote
