mrbassky Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Let them get a tournament when its freezing out and few guys are catching anything. Who wants to pay up to sit in the boat and freeze their butt off watching some one not catch anything. There are days I choose not to go fishing because it would be no fun and I love fishing as much as anybody. I heard pros say certain tournaments werent fun. I wouldnt be suprised if they are begging people to sign up for some tournaments. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 20, 2008 Super User Posted November 20, 2008 There will be a long list of people who will feel honored to rub shoulders with the big boys. I'm not one of them though. Quote
zbass Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I was an observer in the old elite 50 trail a couple of times. It was a great learning experience but, not worth it anymore and definatley not when its nasty : Quote
Willzx225 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 I would think tournaments like Eerie would be tough to fill. I mean who wants to risk their life/ get motion sickness and watch someone catch 30+ smallies over 3lbs. ;D Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 21, 2008 Super User Posted November 21, 2008 Sign up for Erie, eat lots of seafood, and help your pro by chumming ;D Quote

Super User Matt Fly Posted November 21, 2008 Super User Posted November 21, 2008 How many tournaments are scheduled up north in the early months? Most of the time, the tour starts in the south. What BASS tournament has ever been in 10 below weather? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 25, 2008 Super User Posted November 25, 2008 Ever been to Champlain, Erie or Oneida? It doesn't have to be early in the season for it to be freezing, LOL. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted November 26, 2008 Super User Posted November 26, 2008 How many BASS tournaments have ever been in 10 below weather? Matt, its not the temp, its the wind, rain, and waves that would affect turnout on some of these waters. This is a calm, sunny day on Lake Ontario: Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 26, 2008 Super User Posted November 26, 2008 Just wait until they hit one of the lakes up here with 6+ footers.... "You want me to do what in that little 21' Triton?! Quote
