=Matt 5.0= Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Just got the call from Tin, he's fishing the Bassmaster weekend series regionals up on Sacandaga. He's currently 6th heading into the final day, but he's only .7lbs out of first! So far the heaviest bag has been 12lbs. 34 degrees this morning! Quote
Jeff C. Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Wow, thats great ... isn't he one that pours some of his own baits ? Go get um Tin !!! Jeff Quote

Super User burleytog Posted September 21, 2008 Super User Posted September 21, 2008 If I had been awake yesterday morning, he may have made it to first place today. I had a few tips that are money. Quote

Jake. Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Awesome Tin! 34 degrees in September? geez.... Quote
Super User Tin Posted September 21, 2008 Super User Posted September 21, 2008 It's cold, 2-3 hour fog delays, and it's all a matter of the draw now. Hopefully I get lucky. Quote
ptomacbass Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 34 degrees. thats cold for september. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted September 21, 2008 Super User Posted September 21, 2008 Bring it on home Tin! And good luck with the draw. Quote
Super User Tin Posted September 21, 2008 Super User Posted September 21, 2008 Well I don't need the Under Armor this morning it's a nice warm 45. But some heavy fog. They won't extend the last day so we might only get 7 hours in at most. Fishing is pretty tough up here and a two and a half pound fish is gold. I had one yesterday with a couple 1.5 - 1.75's I had a total of 6 keepers and so did my boater. Last year you could have 60 or 80 fish days up here. But the largemouth are no where to be found and it is all about the smallie bite. The water is 6-7 feet low and is dropping 6" a day too. Quote

senko_77 Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 DUDE!!!! Go get em! We all know you will do good bro. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted September 22, 2008 Super User Posted September 22, 2008 Well, how did ya do today? Since your phone is automated voice mailbox... Quote
Super User 5bass Posted September 22, 2008 Super User Posted September 22, 2008 He might be having trouble folding up that big cardboard check to fit in his car, hopefully he'll give us an update soon. Quote
Super User Tin Posted September 22, 2008 Super User Posted September 22, 2008 Had a great time despite the smallies not wanting to come in the boat. Drew a guide that does great on the lake, usually..... ;D Weighed in one fish and fell back to 16th or so. Our boat only had 4 fish all day so I don't feel too bad. Made the best of it and that was about all I could do. Still a great trip. Quote
Super User flechero Posted September 24, 2008 Super User Posted September 24, 2008 it's all a matter of the draw now. Hopefully I get lucky. That really strikes me as funny since you said in the other thread that you have no issue back seating a co-angler until after you have your limit. I hope you remember hoping for a lucky draw, next time you have a co-angler with you. Quote

Not one of the guys that is fishing an area resembling the Sahara Desert. And nice job catching me on that, I just ate my own words a bit. :-[ ;D Quote
Super User flechero Posted September 24, 2008 Super User Posted September 24, 2008 I'm one who has choked on my own foot a few times also! ;D I'm guessing you were kidding, at least partly, in the other thread. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. ...lol Quote
