Super User fishfordollars Posted July 7, 2008 Super User Posted July 7, 2008 Welcome. Join a club to get the experience. Work your way up from there. The club circuits are the greast teaching tools for those interested in moving up the latter. Quote
The Next KVD Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Actually, I'm in the middle of typing up an article for a website that I field staff for about this very subject. I'm currently talking to Jonathan Vandam on getting his insight on how he is paving his way into a full time career. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted July 17, 2008 Super User Posted July 17, 2008 Start at the bottom(club tournaments) and work your way up. Quote

bedman Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 A lot of areas now have junior bass clubs, where the father and son fish together. For example, the junior club in my area allows the father to weigh in one fish and the son to weigh in five. The goal is for the kids to have the best possible experience. A bass club is definitely the way to start out and get their feet wet. Quote
NewScreenNameAdvised Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Clubs are a great way to start. I would highly recommend letting him backseat with as many different people as possible. he will learn a lot. Quote
