BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted July 20, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted July 20, 2008 After hosting 2 events this year I was suprised to see zero events scheduled for 09 and 10. Anyone have an idea as to why? Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted July 20, 2008 Super User Posted July 20, 2008 I think they are just moving around a bit. They aren't coming back to Clark's Hill next year eather. Quote
Thefishy1 Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 And I guess Santee Cooper, Wylie, and Murray are off the short list too Quote

Super User fishfordollars Posted July 20, 2008 Super User Posted July 20, 2008 I wish they would leave Texas alone. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted July 21, 2008 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted July 21, 2008 I think they are just scared of Florida.. ;D Quote
scbassman28 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Florida is not the only thing that they ditched. They also ditched the co-anglers to. B.A.S.S. is slowly going down the crapper. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted July 21, 2008 Super User Posted July 21, 2008 BASS fishes 11 regular season events. I can name my top 25 lakes and still leave out some awesome fisheries as well as missing some great states along the way. I think BASS could do 11 different locations for years to come and not run out of places to go without going back as often as they have. Hope some of you guys have the opportunites to witness a live event. Hookem Quote
warmer Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 florida was tough fishing for them at the end of the year 2 years ago, and tough fishing this year too. i would say its no wonder they are not coming back. Quote
gatrboy53 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 the xtended drought for the last 4 yrs. has a lot to do w/ it.there are only 3 venues in fla. suitable for a B.A.S.S. tx. the big O and the harris chain dont have enough water and kissimmee chain wasnt very good this yr.when the water comes back up and fishin improves i would think fla. would be on the list.
